Roberto Melo discusses Delcir Sonda's role in potential Inter presidency

Roberto Melo, a candidate for the presidency of Sport Club Internacional, has outlined the potential role of businessman Delcir Sonda in his administration. In recent interviews, Melo stated that while Sonda would participate and provide support, he would not hold an official position within the club.

Melo emphasized that any financial assistance from Sonda or other investors would be directed toward addressing the club's primary issue: its significant debt. Regarding the existing debt Internacional owes to Sonda, Melo noted that the businessman has not demanded payment to date but seeks for the debt to be formally recognized and registered in the club's accounts to prevent it from expiring.

Melo expressed hope for a resolution that benefits both the club and the investor, though he clarified he does not have the authority to unilaterally forgive the debt.
