Roberto Morrione Award returns to Turin for investigative journalism event

The Roberto Morrione Award for investigative journalism is returning to Turin from October 29 to 31. This event marks the 15th edition of the Roberto Morrione Award and the 3rd edition of the Riccardo Laganà Award.

The three-day program features over 60 speakers, including journalists, academics, and artists, alongside five investigative reports produced by 13 journalists under the age of 30. The theme for this edition is ‘Povere Parole’ (Poor Words), focusing on the importance of language and the evolving role, opportunities, and risks within the journalism profession.

Scheduled activities include 12 events such as public meetings, debates, and workshops. A preview will take place on October 19 at the Cavallerizza Reale during the inauguration of the University of Turin’s ‘Giorgio Bocca’ Journalism Master’s program. The initiative is promoted by the Associazione Amici di Roberto Morrione in collaboration with Rai and supported by the Piedmont Region.
