Roberto Pasolini to lead pastoral formation event in Pomponesco

The Pastoral Unit comprising the communities of Casaletto, Salina, Bellaguarda, and Pomponesco has announced a formative event for the start of the new pastoral year. The program will feature Fra Roberto Pasolini, a Capuchin friar and Preacher of the Pontifical House, who will lead an encounter on Sunday, September 13, at 5:00 PM at the Church of Pomponesco.

Fra Pasolini, a biblical scholar and professor, was appointed Preacher of the Pontifical House by Pope Francis in November 2024. Following the event in Pomponesco, he is scheduled to return to the diocese on October 7 for a spiritual session at the Cremona Cathedral titled ‘The priority is the Gospel: Saint Francis of Assisi tells us it’, part of the commemorations for the eighth centenary of the death of Italy’s patron saint.
