Roberto Pellicone to present autobiography and docufilm in Trani

The Fondazione S. E. C. A. is hosting an event in Trani on August 17, 2026, to present the autobiography “La mia vita in Polizia: una storia lunga 38 anni” by Roberto Pellicone, a former Questore of the Republic.

The event includes a preview screening of a docufilm that visually documents Pellicone’s 38-year career in the Italian State Police. His professional journey spans various critical roles, including work with the Mobile Unit in Reggio Calabria, anti-racket and anti-terrorism coordination, and leading the D.I.G.O.S. in Reggio Calabria. He also served as Questore in Isernia, Barletta-Andria-Trani, and Siracusa.

Beyond institutional history, the book and film explore the personal dimensions of law enforcement, covering the psychological weight of decision-making, hostage negotiation training conducted with the FBI in Budapest, and the human experiences encountered while fighting organized crime.
