Roberto Rigoni Stern elected president of Vicenza's Società del Quartetto

On Thursday 30 July, Roberto Rigoni Stern – mayor of Asiago and criminal‑lawyer – was unanimously elected president of the Società del Quartetto di Vicenza, succeeding Everardo Dal Maso. The new board, chosen at the same assembly, includes vice‑president Adriana Maltauro and members Everardo Dal Maso, Paolo Pigato, Andrea Scarpari and Daniele Ziggiotto.

Founded in 1910, the society is one of Italy’s oldest concert organisations. It presents a main season of twelve concerts at the Teatro Comunale and organises two international festivals each year at the Teatro Olimpico. Rigoni Stern, a graduate organist from the Verona Conservatory with specialisation in early music and Gregorian chant, will now lead the institution while continuing his public‑administrative duties.
