Roberto Torres honored in hometown of Arre

Former footballer Roberto Torres Morales was honored in his hometown of Arre, Ezcabarte, following his retirement announcement in May. The tribute was organized by the Ezcabarte City Council, the Arre Council, and a local group named in his honor.

Torres, 37, is well known for his 353 official matches with Osasuna before playing for clubs in Iran, Andorra, Tarragona, and Orihuela. The event included a video tribute featuring messages from former teammates such as Mikel Merino and David García, as well as former rivals. The celebration included a communal meal for 125 people, musical performances, and various community activities.
