Roberto Vannacci completes solo swim after Renzi misses challenge

Roberto Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, completed a solo swim-marathon in Costa Rei after Matteo Renzi failed to appear for a scheduled challenge. Vannacci noted that the challenge had been originally proposed by Renzi.

Following the swim, Vannacci commented on Renzi’s absence, suggesting a lack of change in the politician over the last decade. Renzi later responded on social media, suggesting a meeting in Florence for a marathon and an invitation to engage in political debate.
