Roberto Vannacci defends stance on disability education

Roberto Vannacci, leader of Futuro Nazionale, has addressed recent controversies regarding his stance on students with severe disabilities. Vannacci argued that mere socialization through integration into standard classrooms is not a panacea, stating that students require better infrastructure and professional support rather than just being placed alongside peers.

Rossano Sasso, a deputy for Futuro Nazionale, defended Vannacci against accusations that he intends to reinstate the segregated 'differential classes' of the 1970s. Sasso clarified that the party is proposing alternative, dignified learning environments within schools to meet individual needs when continuous classroom presence is not the most effective solution. He argued that a rigid model of inclusion can paradoxically lead to student suffering and mortification.

Additionally, Vannacci commented on Italian electoral laws, stating his party will not vote for the current proposal at the Chamber because it fails to grant true sovereignty to the people. He also expressed hardline views on migration, suggesting that policies should focus on making it less convenient for migrants to remain in the country by eliminating subsidies and facilitating easier returns to their countries of origin.
