Roberto Vannacci boosts Futuro Nazionale in Abruzzo while suing social media commenters

General Roberto Vannacci, leader of the Futuro Nazionale movement, spent two days in Abruzzo (Pescara and Vasto) announcing the party’s entry into local institutions. At a press conference in Pescara he confirmed the admission of municipal councillors Valeria Toppetti and Christian Orta, and later in Vasto he presented new members including Sabrina Bocchino, Alessandro Carbone and mayor Giuseppe Finamore. The visits included a public rally with the mayor of Notaresco, deputy Rossano Sasso and other local officials, where Vannacci outlined the movement’s goals for small‑and‑medium enterprises, tax reduction, immigration control and security.

In a separate development, Vannacci launched a legal campaign against users who left what he described as offensive comments on a Facebook video posted on 28 March during the inauguration of Futuro Nazionale’s first Florence office. A pool of nine lawyers, acting through Talento Company, sent cease‑and‑desist letters citing civil‑code articles on unlawful damage and defamation, demanding removal of the comments and, in serious cases, compensation. Vannacci justified the action as a defence of his personal rights.

In an interview with Il Centro, Vannacci said the party draws inspiration from guerrilla tactics, emphasizing a non‑hierarchical structure that allows local initiative while still providing overall direction. He highlighted the movement’s focus on the 96 % of Italy’s economy represented by SMEs and its plan to generate €15 billion annually by tightening immigration policies.
