Roberto Vannacci unveils Futuro Nazionale 2027-2037 program
Roberto Vannacci has unveiled the 2027-2037 program for his political movement, Futuro Nazionale. The platform focuses on traditional values, Christian identity, and strict economic and immigration policies.
Key economic proposals include tax simplification, reducing the tax wedge, and an industrial policy centered on ‘Made in Italy’. The program also suggests permanent daylight saving time to save energy costs and opposes the Green Deal, favoring the restoration of Russian gas purchases. On immigration, the party advocates for ‘remigration,’ which involves blocking illegal immigration through landing bans, naval patrols, and closing ports to NGOs, alongside immediate repatriations and stopping family reunification.
The program has drawn significant criticism. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described Vannacci’s movement as ‘an operation constructed to favor the left.’ Additionally, Carmine Gorrasi of Forza Italia criticized the plan as unfeasible, questioning the financial coverage for proposals such as earlier retirement and tax cuts, while noting controversial elements like ‘blue quotas’ for large families in public competitions.
