Roberto Vannacci's Futuro Nazionale forms council group in L'Aquila

General Roberto Vannacci presented his new political movement Futuro Nazionale at Milan's Pirellone, attacking Forza Italia and other centre‑right parties and warning that the bloc is moving toward positions similar to the Democratic Party in Europe. He said the movement aims to grow quickly and will hold a constituent assembly in Rome in June.

In L'Aquila, councilor Daniele D’Angelo left Forza Italia to join Futuro Nazionale, creating the party’s first municipal council group. D’Angelo thanked Forza Italia for past cooperation and announced plans to field a 32‑candidate list for the upcoming local elections, emphasizing local identity, security and support for families and businesses.
