Bayern Munich and Augsburg draw 2-2 after historic Bundesliga record

Bayern Munich and FC Augsburg played to a 2-2 draw in a Bundesliga match marked by a historic record. Just eight seconds into the game, Robin Fellhauer scored the fastest goal in Bundesliga history, following a significant error by Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Neuer attempted to chip the ball over Fellhauer, but it struck the player and allowed him to score into an empty net.

Despite the early setback and a second goal from Augsburg's Rodrigo Ribeiro, Bayern Munich managed to recover. Ismael Saibari equalized in the second half, and Nathaniel Brown secured the draw in the 80th minute. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany noted that while the team created 29 shots and had four goals disallowed for offside, individual errors cost them the victory.

Following the match, Bayern president Uli Hoeneß criticized the congested international calendar and UEFA's scheduling, arguing that frequent breaks for national teams disrupt club rhythm and place undue burden on players.
