Robin Gonzalez faces motivational crisis at Vukovar after blocked transfer

Colombian offensive player Robin Gonzalez is reportedly facing a crisis of motivation at Vukovar following a blocked transfer. Despite being valued at approximately one million euros during his successful tenure in the SHNL, the 27-year-old remains with the club after several failed opportunities to move.

Although Vukovar leadership had previously indicated they would not obstruct his departure out of gratitude for his six years of service, the club recently blocked a move to Istra 1961. Other reported interests from clubs in Switzerland, Russia, and the SHNL also failed to materialize.

Gonzalez, who has played 141 matches for the club, has struggled to integrate with the new squad under coach Kristijan Polovanc. His recent performances, including a 0-4 cup loss against Dinamo where he served as captain, have been described as a significant decline from his previous form. Sources indicate the player is deeply dissatisfied and has lost his passion for football due to the current situation.
