Robin Hood movies broadcast on Rai Movie in Italy

Rai Movie aired the Ridley Scott‑directed "Robin Hood" on Italian television. The film stars Russell Crowe as the famed archer, with Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Mark Strong, Mark Addy and Oscar Isaac among the supporting cast. Set in 13th‑century England, the story follows Robert Longstride’s transformation into the legendary outlaw of Sherwood Forest.

The channel also presented the darker reinterpretation "Robin Hood – Il prezzo del sangue," directed by Michael Sarnoski and featuring Hugh Jackman as an aged, tormented Robin. The film places the hero in 1247 England, focusing on his remorse and the violent legacy of his deeds, and follows his retreat to a convent where he confronts his past.
