Robin Wood Award to hold third edition in Asunción

The third edition of the Robin Wood Award will take place on October 16 and 17 in Asunción, Paraguay. Presented by the Itaú Foundation and the Central Library and Archive of the National Congress, the event gathers authors, illustrators, editors, and comic book professionals.

This year, the award introduces a new category dedicated to illustration and caricature to recognize graphic artists whose work extends beyond traditional comic books. The award honors the legacy of Robin Wood, a fundamental figure in Paraguayan and Latin American comics, and includes the Itaú Foundation Contest for Young Authors to support new voices in graphic narrative.
