Robinhood Chain Surpasses 2 Million Users as Tokenized Stocks Hit $70 Million in Value

Robinhood Markets launched the Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer‑2 network built on Arbitrum’s Orbit technology, on July 1. Within weeks the chain attracted more than 2 million monthly active users, a 50 % week‑on‑week rise, and daily transaction counts approaching 10 million.

Total value locked jumped to roughly $480 million, while decentralized‑exchange volume exceeded $600 million per day. Tokenized real‑world assets (RWA) on the network grew five‑fold to about $70 million, with a dozen tokenized equities each recording daily trading of at least $500 000. Notable tokenized stocks include GameStop ($26.6 M daily), Nvidia ($14 M) and SpaceX ($6.4 M). The chain’s activity remains dominated by memecoins, but the rapid rise of tokenized equities signals expanding use beyond speculative trading.

The platform operates without a native token, offers 100 ms block times and uses Arbitrum’s roll‑up architecture to batch off‑chain transactions before settlement on Ethereum. Integration with projects such as the VIRTUAL token is expected to further boost ecosystem growth.
