Robinhood Chain expands via ZeroHash integration as tokenized stock trading rises
The Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain launched on July 1, is seeing significant integration and trading activity. ZeroHash has announced it will enable its clients—including banks, brokerages, and payment companies—to connect to the Robinhood Chain and its assets, such as the USDG stablecoin. This integration allows financial institutions to access the blockchain without building their own technical or regulatory infrastructure.
Trading data from MEXC indicates that tokenized US stocks accounted for 62% of all TradFi spot volume in July, becoming the largest category on the spot market. Additionally, individual stock futures volume grew by 111% from June. Trading in memory chip companies like SanDisk, SK Hynix, and Micron, which support AI data centers, contributed to 18% of all TradFi futures volume during the month.
