Robinhood Chain hits record $85.1 million in RWA trading volume

Robinhood Chain has reached a record high in tokenized Real World Asset (RWA) trading volume. On August 25, the daily volume hit $85.1 million, marking the largest single-day transaction amount since the mainnet launched in July.

Stock tokens accounted for approximately $66.6 million, or 78% of the total volume. This represents a shift in market composition; while meme coin and stock token pairs previously dominated, interest has moved toward tokens directly linked to stock prices. Other transactions included $10.4 million in meme coin and stock token pairs, $4.8 million in ETFs and treasury bonds, and $3.3 million in commodity-related assets.

Robinhood Chain operates as an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 network designed to connect traditional financial products with cryptocurrency. The platform currently offers over 190 stock tokens linked to companies such as NVIDIA, Apple, and Google. However, these products are subject to regional restrictions and are not available to U.S. investors. According to official documentation, these tokens are tokenized debt securities linked to the economic value of the underlying stock rather than direct legal ownership of the asset.
