Robinhood launches its own blockchain and expands tokenized asset services globally

Robinhood has launched Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum‑compatible Layer 2 mainnet built on Arbitrum Orbit, and adopted Chainlink as its official data and cross‑chain oracle. The integration brings Chainlink’s Cross‑Chain Interoperability Protocol, data streams and feeds to power tokenized “stock tokens” such as Nvidia, Google and Apple, and supports AI‑native trading and DeFi collateral.

The company is rolling out new products worldwide: a crypto‑trading launch in the United Kingdom, perpetual futures for commodities, ETFs and FX in Europe with up to 10‑times leverage, and entry into Canada after acquiring WonderFi along with a capital‑markets licence in Singapore. Robinhood Earn, a yield‑bearing product for its USD‑pegged stablecoin USDG, is powered by the Morpho credit network and insured through Lloyd’s of London.

Analysts at Mizuho raised Robinhood’s price target to $130, citing the international expansion and growing crypto‑revenue, while tokenized stock offerings have also appeared on other Layer 2 networks such as Base via SynFutures and Anchored. The combined moves mark a shift toward on‑chain finance for the platform’s 28 million customers across 38 countries.
