Robinhood Chain launches Pons V2 with tokenized RWA trading pairs

Robinhood Chain introduced the Pons V2 upgrade, adding real‑world asset (RWA) trading pairs that let users exchange tokenized stocks, bonds, commodities and other off‑chain assets directly on the network. The update also addresses liquidity and trading‑restriction complaints by inserting an ETH‑denominated bonding curve, making fees payable in ETH and allowing creators to select other payout assets.

The platform now supports non‑custodial launchpad functions, featuring an explorer, creator dashboard and on‑chain analytics. Robinhood Chain’s total value locked has surpassed $300 million, and its decentralized exchange volume exceeds $9 billion, driven largely (≈80%) by speculative meme‑coin trades. Despite high trading activity, 63 % of traders report losses, with only 46 wallets realizing profits over $1 million.

Pons V2 is positioned to strengthen Robinhood Chain’s ambition to compete with other layer‑2 networks and to expand its role in tokenizing traditional financial instruments.
