Robinhood Chain sees record fees and DEX volume
Robinhood Chain has achieved significant growth within two months of its mainnet launch. On a single day, the network recorded transaction fees exceeding $3.75 million, surpassing both the Ethereum mainnet and Coinbase’s Base network in fee generation. The decentralized exchange (DEX) volume on the chain also reached record highs, with reports indicating daily volumes between $819 million and $1.5 billion.
The network’s growth is driven by a combination of meme coin trading and Real World Asset (RWA) activity. Specifically, trading involving meme coins paired with tokenized stocks—such as Nvidia and Tesla—accounted for approximately 56% of RWA-related volume, totaling $217 million. This structure suggests that meme coin liquidity is being channeled into tokenized traditional financial assets.
As an Ethereum Layer 2 network utilizing the Arbitrum technology stack, Robinhood Chain’s success also benefits the Arbitrum ecosystem. Through the Arbitrum Expansion Program (AEP), a portion of the protocol revenue is distributed to Arbitrum, making it a significant new revenue stream for the Arbitrum DAO.
