Robinhood drives surge in tokenized stock holders to 752,000

Tokenized equity holders grew 92% in a month, reaching 752,000 across five major platforms, according to DWF Labs data. Robinhood attracted 328,000 users, giving it a 44% share of holders but only $44 million in assets, with an average position of about $134 per holder.

Ondo remained the largest asset holder with $857 million, followed by xStocks and Securitize. The growth follows Robinhood’s launch of public Layer 2 tokenized stock products on July 1, made available through the Robinhood Wallet in more than 120 jurisdictions. The new tokens can be traded 24/7 and used in decentralized‑finance applications, while activity on the Robinhood Chain has risen since the launch.

U.S. transfer‑agent groups have urged the SEC to prioritize issuer‑backed tokenized securities over unaffiliated products, highlighting regulatory interest as the market expands.
