Robinhood Expands AI Agent Trading to Crypto for US Users, UK Next

Robinhood is preparing to extend its third‑party AI agent integrations to its US crypto product, letting eligible customers set up agents with defined guardrails that can place trades automatically. The company has not announced a specific rollout date for US crypto traders but said that UK users will be the next group to gain access after the US.

The AI‑agent feature was first launched in a beta for equities and options in late May, attracting more than 70,000 agentic accounts. Robinhood’s broader crypto strategy includes the Ethereum layer‑2 network Robinhood Chain, which processed 17 million transactions from roughly 350,000 wallet addresses in its first week. The platform partners with AI providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI and SpaceX’s Grok, and also plans to allow agents to make credit‑card purchases on users’ behalf.
