Robinhood expands AI trading agents and perpetual futures to Europe and other markets
Robinhood announced a suite of new international products. In the European Union, the platform will offer perpetual futures contracts on commodities, selected currencies and ETFs such as the Invesco QQQ. The company also secured a capital‑markets licence in Singapore and is rolling out cryptocurrency trading in the United Kingdom and Canada, where it will provide zero‑commission crypto trades until the end of September.
The firm is advancing its artificial‑intelligence strategy. CEO Vlad Tenev told CNBC that the goal is for AI agents to operate at a level comparable to human traders, saying, "A great part of stock‑market trades are already automated and based on AI." Meanwhile, Johann Kerbrat, Robinhood’s GM of Crypto and International, said, "We want to extend this vision to the rest of the world," as the company expands its AI‑driven trading tools and a new lending service, Robinhood Earn, for a dollar‑linked stablecoin.
Robinhood now serves roughly 28 million customers in 38 countries and is positioning the new features to broaden access to advanced investment strategies for retail investors worldwide.
