Robinhood expands blockchain platform with Arcus DEX launch and AI crypto trading tools

Robinhood announced a partnership with dYdX Labs to relaunch the decentralized exchange protocol as Arcus on the company’s new Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum‑based Ethereum layer‑2 network. The Arcus DEX will support tokenized U.S. stocks, perpetual futures and allow tokenized stocks to be used as collateral, aiming to provide 24/7 access to equities and derivatives for retail investors.

In the same rollout, Robinhood extended its AI‑driven trading platform to cryptocurrency markets. Eligible U.S. users can connect their own AI models to Robinhood’s trading infrastructure via the Trading Model Context Protocol, granting AI agents access to market data, risk limits and execution capabilities while keeping users in control of capital allocation. The expansion also introduces tokenized stocks, decentralized perpetual futures and a stablecoin‑lending product on Robinhood Chain, reinforcing the broker’s push into decentralized finance and global expansion.
