Robinhood Launches Ventures Fund II IPO Roadshow for Retail Investors

Robinhood Markets will livestream the roadshow for its new Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII) on August 3, making the presentation available to retail investors via the Robinhood app and YouTube. The closed‑end fund will focus on early‑ and growth‑stage private companies, with a particular emphasis on Y Combinator startups and alumni‑founded firms. Shares of RVII are slated to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker RVII once the SEC registration becomes effective.

Company executives expected to appear include CEO Vlad Tenev, CFO Shiv Verma, RVII President Sarah Pinto and Portfolio Manager Rich Aberman. The announcement coincided with a roughly 2% dip in Robinhood’s own stock (HOOD) in overnight trading. Robinhood says the fund expands its private‑market offering beyond its core trading services, aligning with its broader push into crypto, prediction markets, and wealth‑management products.
