Robinhood Markets sees stock upgrade and record blockchain trading volume
Robinhood Markets is experiencing significant momentum across its financial and blockchain operations. Morgan Stanley has upgraded the company’s stock rating from ‘Equal Weight’ to ‘Overweight,’ raising its price target from $124 to $150. Analysts cite the company’s ability to monetize its 28 million users through an expanding product suite as a primary driver for this bullish outlook.
Simultaneously, the Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 network built on Arbitrum technology, has reached several operational milestones. The network recently recorded a record $390 million in daily trading volume for real-world asset (RWA)-linked tokens. This activity was largely driven by memecoin-stock trading pairs, which generated $217 million, and tokenized equity instruments, which contributed $127 million.
The surge in network activity has also benefited the broader ecosystem, with Robinhood Chain generating approximately $3.75 million in daily transaction fees, a record high that significantly exceeded the fee revenue of the Arbitrum mainnet. The total value of assets locked (TVL) on the Robinhood Chain has climbed toward $757 million, supported by a growing stablecoin market capitalization.
