Robinhood Markets sees new institutional investments as fund holdings rise
Capital Wealth Planning LLC increased its Robinhood stake in the fourth quarter by purchasing 25,387 shares, taking its total holding to 73,825 shares worth about $8.35 million. Franklin Resources Inc. also raised its position, buying 434,524 shares and ending the quarter with roughly 2.75 million shares valued at $311.6 million. Both moves are part of a broader trend of institutional investors adding to their Robinhood holdings, with several funds such as Sound Income Strategies, CYBER HORNET ETFs, and Godsey & Gibb acquiring new positions. Institutional investors now own about 93 % of Robinhood’s outstanding stock, while insiders hold roughly 14 %. Director Meyer Malka purchased 250,000 shares at $80.74 each, increasing his ownership to over 3.9 million shares.
