Robinson Park in Huelva undergoes major renovation

Robinson Park in the Molino de la Vega neighborhood of Huelva has reopened following a comprehensive remodeling project. The renovation addressed long-standing structural issues, specifically historical drainage problems that caused water accumulation, particularly around the kiosk area.

In coordination with Aguas de Huelva, the project involved renewing the network of collectors and sumps, adding new water evacuation elements, and adjusting pavement slopes. Once the drainage issues were resolved, the Huelva City Council proceeded with aesthetic and functional upgrades.

Improvements include a renovated children's area with new playground equipment, updated safety fencing, and new flooring using a combination of printed concrete and shock-absorbing surfaces. To encourage use by all age groups, the park now features new leisure facilities such as two ping-pong tables, swing ball, and four chess tables with accompanying seating.
