Robinson's Rescue launches free spay/neuter voucher program in Shreveport-Bossier
Robinson's Rescue is offering a Subsidized Spay/Neuter Incentive Program (SSNIP) voucher day for residents of Caddo and Bossier Parishes. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Shreveport Library on Hollywood/Union Avenue.
Eligible families – single‑income households earning $2,100 or less per month or married couples earning $3,100 or less – can pick up vouchers and schedule free spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccinations for their pets. Participants must bring identification and proof of income. The program, which began in 2008 as Louisiana’s first high‑volume low‑cost clinic, aims to reduce pet overpopulation and keep animals out of shelters.
To apply, residents must complete the SSNIP application form and submit it with proof of income by texting 318‑562‑1979 or emailing RR2210017@gmail.com.
