Roblox introduces parental controls and referral rewards

Roblox is implementing updated parental control features and a referral program for its Roblox Plus subscription.

By 2026, the platform’s parental controls will allow guardians to monitor and set limits on screen time, content, interactions, and spending based on the user's age and account eligibility. To utilize these features effectively, parents are encouraged to link their accounts to their children's accounts and provide accurate age information rather than using false data to bypass restrictions.

Additionally, the Roblox Plus referral program offers 100 Robux to both the referrer and the new subscriber. To qualify, the new user must sign up via a referral link and complete their first payment. Both the referrer and the new subscriber must maintain active subscriptions for a 21-day waiting period before the Robux credits are released.
