Roblox launches Co-Play initiative to promote digital well-being

Roblox has introduced a Co-Play initiative to coincide with World Mental Health Awareness Month, aiming to strengthen parent-child bonds and promote healthy digital well-being habits.

The platform encourages parents to participate in virtual experiences alongside their children to better understand their gaming interests and facilitate discussions regarding screen time and online safety. A central component of this initiative is ‘Family Zone,’ an educational experience developed by Roblox in collaboration with MindTrust.

Family Zone is designed to teach digital literacy and safe online exploration. It provides parents with guidance on setting and adjusting parental controls while offering children an introduction to 3D movement and virtual interactivity. To encourage engagement, the experience offers rewards such as exclusive avatar items.
