Roblox rolls out new app tabs for Moments, Chat and Avatar

Roblox announced that its mobile app will receive a redesigned home page with three new tabs – Moments, Chat and Avatar (renamed from “Me”). The Moments tab will let users aged 16+ view gameplay videos shared by friends and influencers, while the Chat tab will enable in‑game conversations that continue without leaving the game. The Avatar tab consolidates profile and avatar customization, adding new background options for personal expression.

The update is first being released in Canada, New Zealand and Singapore, with New Zealand also receiving a new “Create” tab for building content. Roblox says the features will roll out globally over the coming months. The announcement was made by founder and CEO David Baszucki.
