Roblox widow sues male escort for alleged $6 million fraud
Marianne Flippo, the widow of Roblox programmer Chad Flippo, has filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court alleging she was defrauded of nearly $6 million by a male escort, Greg Starr.
According to court documents, Flippo met Starr through the agency Cowboys 4 Angels. She claims Starr manipulated her into believing they would build a life together, leading her to believe she needed to pay $10 million to release him from his agency contract. Flippo alleges that Starr and another agency employee pressured her to sign agreements while she was under the influence of alcohol and medication. To date, $5.95 million has been transferred, with Starr reportedly seeking an additional $4 million.
The lawsuit describes Flippo as being under ‘Svengali-like control’ by Starr. The legal dispute also touches upon a $14 million Beaux-Arts mansion in Manhattan's Kip's Bay that Flippo purchased in April, which her attorney claims she bought under the impression it would be a shared home for her and Starr.
