Roborock and Aldi introduce new vacuum and mop robot models
New vacuum and mop robot models have been introduced by Aldi and Roborock, targeting different consumer segments.
Aldi Nord is offering the Ambiano E6B for €89.99. This budget-friendly model features a suction power of approximately 2700 Pa and utilizes gyroscopic navigation to clean in structured paths. While it lacks advanced room mapping or virtual no-go zones, it includes sensors for collision and fall prevention. The device can be controlled via a smartphone app or a provided remote control and comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty.
At the IFA in Berlin, Roborock showcased several high-end models, including the Qrevo Edge 2 FlowX and the Saros 20 Flow Complete. The Qrevo Edge 2 FlowX features 35,000 Pa suction power and a specialized mopping system that uses 16 nozzles to continuously supply fresh water to the cleaning roller, preventing the spread of dirty water. The Saros 20 Flow Complete is designed for maximum automation, featuring a docking station that washes the mop with 100-degree Celsius hot water and automatically doses cleaning agents.
