Roborock expands robotics lineup with pool cleaner and vacuum

Roborock is expanding its household robotics ecosystem with the introduction of new automated maintenance devices. The company has launched the RockAqua Q1, its first robotic pool cleaner, which utilizes monocular camera-based obstacle avoidance to navigate complex pool layouts. The battery-powered device features dynamic dirt detection and an Auto Waterline Parking function for easier retrieval. The Q1 is launching in Europe, though specific pricing and a U.S. release date have not been confirmed.

In the indoor cleaning sector, the Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro has recently launched. This robot vacuum features a 20,000 Pa digital motor, LiDAR navigation, and a FlexiArm mop designed to clean hard-to-reach corners. The device also includes Matter support for smart home integration and an AI-powered ‘SmartPlan’ for cleaning optimization.
