Robot Chicken Adult Swim 25th Anniversary Special Set for August 30

Adult Swim will air a new "Robot Chicken" special to mark its 25th anniversary. The stop‑motion sketch series, created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, premieres Sunday, August 30 at midnight (ET/PT) on Adult Swim and will be available for streaming the following day on Max.

The hour‑long event features a murder‑mystery plot set aboard a luxury cruise ship and brings together characters from many Adult Swim franchises, including The Venture Bros., Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Moral Orel, Smiling Friends, Metalocalypse, The Drinky Crow Show and live‑action titles such as Children’s Hospital and Eagleheart.

The special serves as part of Adult Swim’s broader celebration of its quarter‑century of programming, with further crossover projects planned for Cartoon Network’s 35th anniversary.
