Robot Chicken celebrates Adult Swim's 25th anniversary with crossover special

The Robot Chicken Adult Swim 25th Anniversary Special premieres on HBO Max and Adult Swim, featuring a stop-motion crossover event to celebrate the network's quarter-century milestone. Created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, the special utilizes a cruise ship setting to bring together characters from various iconic Adult Swim franchises, including Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Smiling Friends, Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros, and Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law.

The plot involves a festive celebration on a cruise ship that descends into chaos, leading to a courtroom fallout. In addition to this special, Adult Swim has teased future projects, including a Cartoon Network-focused special planned for 2027 to commemorate that network's 35th anniversary. All 11 previous seasons of Robot Chicken are also available for streaming on HBO Max.
