Robot vacuum maintenance tips and Roborock's new autonomous model
Effective robot vacuum performance relies heavily on consistent maintenance to prevent the device from spreading debris rather than removing it. Common issues include full dust bins that reduce suction, hair tangled in rotating brushes, clogged filters, and dirty sensors that cause erratic movement. Regular cleaning of brushes, filters, and sensors is essential for maintaining suction power and navigation accuracy.
In response to these maintenance needs, Roborock has introduced the Qrevo 2 Pro, designed for increased autonomy. The model features a base station capable of storing dust for up to 65 days and includes a system to wash mops with 75°C water and dry them with hot air. The device offers 25,000 Pa of suction and a dual anti-tangle system to minimize hair buildup on brushes. It also includes specialized carpet cleaning features, such as 'Carpet Boost+' and 'Deep Carpet Cleaning', which adjust suction and cleaning patterns for different floor types.
