Robotic lawn mowers Husqvarna and Anthbot introduce new features
New developments in autonomous gardening technology feature specialized robotic lawn mowers designed for different residential needs.
The Husqvarna Automower 415X is designed for areas up to 1,450 m² and can handle slopes of up to 40%. It features a 20 cm cutting width and utilizes GPS-supported navigation alongside a boundary loop to ensure precise coverage and reliable orientation on challenging terrains.
In a separate development, the Anthbot N8 offers multi-functional capabilities beyond standard mowing. In addition to mowing and mulching, the device includes a 23-liter collection box that allows it to gather grass clippings and vacuum leaves. The N8 utilizes Full-Band-RTK and Dual-Vision navigation, and its cutting mechanism can reach up to 4,000 revolutions per minute to shred collected debris. It also features automatic emptying at designated locations and AI-driven obstacle recognition.
