Robotics and AI featured at MSV 2026 and regional tech events

The International Engineering Fair (MSV 2026) in Brno attracted over 55,000 visitors, featuring 1,379 exhibitors from 39 countries. The event highlighted the integration of traditional manufacturing with automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and industrial data.

Key technological focuses included industrial 5G networks, digital twins, and additive manufacturing. The ‘Digital Factory 2.0’ exhibition, organized by the National Centre for Industry 4.0, demonstrated the synergy between humans, robots, and AI, including the use of humanoid robotics and virtual training environments for robots.

In Čakovec, the ‘VOLIM tehniČKi 2026’ event, organized by the Association of Young IT Professionals, promoted STEM fields through interactive workshops. The event offered hands-on experience in robotics, electronics, programming, and 3D modeling to encourage technical creativity among children and young adults.
