Robotics companies to showcase automation at Japanese forestry and agriculture expos

Several technology companies are set to showcase advanced robotics and automation solutions at upcoming industry exhibitions in Japan.

Asratec Co., Ltd. will participate in the Shizuoka Prefecture Forestry and Silviculture Advanced Technology Seminar, ‘Innovation PowerWeek,’ held virtually via MetaverseSHIZUOKA from October 5 to October 9, 2026. The company plans to demonstrate its ‘V-Sido’ robot control system, support for the ‘Spot’ quadruped robot, and its ‘Asratec Cloud Robot System’ for remote operations. A presentation titled ‘Utilization of Quadruped Robots in Forestry and Mountainous Areas’ is scheduled for the event's opening day.

Separately, Spacewalker Technology Japan will exhibit at the 16th Agriculture WEEK Tokyo (J-AGRI) at Makuhari Messe from October 7 to October 9, 2026. Representing its smart lifestyle brand MOVA, the company will present AI-powered robotic lawn mowers equipped with LiDAR and 3D vision technology designed to mitigate labor shortages in agriculture and land management. The exhibition will also feature the Japanese debut of its battery-powered garden and electric tool series.
