Roc Boyz drunken show sparks outrage at Sandefjord's Fjordfesten festival

At the Fjordfesten music festival in Sandefjord, Norway, the Norwegian rap trio Roc Boyz took the stage late on Friday night. Band member Kristoffer Brandshaug appeared heavily intoxicated, vomiting on‑stage, stumbling and falling repeatedly, which prompted shock and anger among audience members. Viewers criticised the festival organizers for allowing the performance to continue, describing the scene as "shocking and uncomfortable" and calling for stricter future protocols.

The incident was highlighted in coverage of the nearby Splash festival in Luleå, Sweden, where Roc Boyz had performed earlier before flying to Norway. Police filed two reports concerning the band's conduct, and Roc Boyz’s manager was contacted about possible rehabilitation. Warner Music, the band’s label, confirmed it was aware of the situation. Later in the program, Swedish artist Thomas Stenström performed, noting the tense atmosphere but continuing the festival schedule.

Organisers said the episode was unique in the festival’s 18‑year history and pledged to review safety and artist‑well‑being procedures for future events.
