Rocasa Gran Canaria wins third place at III Memorial Julio Gilsanz

Rocasa Gran Canaria secured third place in the III Memorial Julio Gilsanz preseason handball tournament after defeating Lobas de Oviedo with a score of 32-25. The match took place at the municipal pavilion in O Porriño.

Despite an early deficit, Rocasa Gran Canaria mounted a comeback in the second half, leveraging strong performances from Uxue Morentin, Francielle Sotheen, and goalkeeper Ana Palomino. The team entered the break with a 16-10 lead and maintained control throughout the second period.

Lobas de Oviedo finished the tournament in fourth place. Led by Lucía Vacas, the team attempted to close the gap in the final stages of the game but ultimately fell by seven goals. Lobas de Oviedo is scheduled to continue its preseason preparations with an upcoming tournament in Villacelama.
