Roccamonfina: Two men reported for fake car rental fraud

Two men, aged 37 and 59, have been reported to judicial authorities by the Carabinieri of Roccamonfina following a fraudulent car rental scheme. The suspects, residents of the Caserta province, allegedly impersonated employees of the rental company Europcar to deceive two women.

According to investigators, the victims were convinced to make a bank transfer of 1,600 euros for a vehicle rental service. However, the vehicle was never delivered after the payment was processed. The suspects are facing charges of conspiracy to commit fraud.
