Roccaraso inaugurates new facility for blind 5-a-side football

Roccaraso is set to inaugurate a new sports facility dedicated to B1 category (blind) 5-a-side football. The facility will host official national and international championship matches and serves as a key training hub for Central Italy.

The Italian National Blind 5-a-side Football Team will use the site for their final preparation camp from August 8 to August 13 ahead of the IBSA European Championships in France. The team, led by coach Michele Pugliese, will compete in Group B against Romania, Turkey, and Spain, with their opening match scheduled for August 17 against Romania.
