Roccasecca: Minor reported to court after firing blank pistol near station

Carabinieri in Roccasecca have seized a Beretta 92 replica pistol and two blank cartridges following an investigation triggered by a video posted on Instagram. The footage showed a minor firing a blank shot near the Roccasecca railway station.

During a subsequent home search, authorities recovered the replica, which lacked the required red safety plug, along with a magazine. The minor has been referred to the Juvenile Court of Rome. The individual faces charges including dangerous explosions, causing a false alarm to authorities, and the illegal possession of weapons or tools capable of causing harm.
