Roccella Jonica to inaugurate Rondine Method sections at IIS Mazzone

On November 5, 2026, the IIS “P. Mazzone” school in Roccella Jonica will host an event to present and inaugurate the “Rondine” sections, sharing the experience with schools across Calabria.

The Rondine Method, developed by the “Rondine – Cittadella della Pace” association, focuses on conflict resolution and creative transformation of conflict by teaching students to recognize others as persons rather than adversaries. Two sections at IIS “Mazzone” already implement this approach through specialized tutors and trained class councils.

The event will include institutional greetings from local and regional officials, including Mayor Vittorio Zito and Regional Councilor Eulalia Micheli. Following testimonies from students and coordinators, an afternoon workshop will be held to establish a regional network of schools interested in adopting the Rondine Method.
