Rocco Casalino declines €400,000 offer to join Italy’s Grande Fratello Vip

Former government spokesperson Rocco Casalino publicly denied any participation in the upcoming edition of Grande Fratello Vip. In a brief statement he said, «Smentisco la mia partecipazione come concorrente al Grande Fratello Vip», confirming that he will not join the reality show.

Media reports indicate that Mediaset, the broadcaster behind the program, had reportedly put a cachet of around €400,000 on the table to secure his involvement. The same figure has been mentioned in connection with earlier, unrelated offers for other reality formats such as L’Isola dei Famosi, which Casalino also declined. He cited professional commitments and a desire to pursue different television projects, including a planned appearance on the music‑performance show “Tu sì que vales”.
