Roche Pharma Argentina deepens partnership with Córdoba Province to expand decentralized health care

Roche Pharma Argentina met with Córdoba’s Health Minister Ricardo Pieckenstainer and senior executives, including Patrick Eckert and María Pía Orihuela, to reinforce a cooperation agreement aimed at decentralising the provincial health system. The companies discussed plans to bring diagnosis, treatment and follow‑up closer to patients in the interior of the province, reducing geographic barriers and concentrating care in large urban centres.

Roche highlighted its ongoing clinical research in Córdoba, now operating 19 studies across 24 health centres covering eight major pathologies. The partnership seeks to improve access to innovative therapies, generate scientific evidence and strengthen the quality, equity and sustainability of the provincial health network. Patrick Eckert said, “Córdoba reúne capacidades científicas, profesionales e institucionales que la posicionan como un actor relevante para la transformación de los sistemas de salud en América Latina.” The companies committed to continue investment and joint initiatives under the existing cooperation framework.
